New GlobalPSC Podcast on Plastics

Recently in Hong Kong, GlobalPSC CEO Russ Martin caught up with Doug Woodring, founder of both the Ocean Recovery Alliance and the Plasticity Forum to discuss plastics.

In Episode 2, hear about drivers for addressing plastics, debate over sources of plastic in the environment, externalities of plastic waste, circular economy and the opportunities for product stewardship and extended producer responsibility schemes, along with a range of other initiatives, to help tackle this significant issue. The roles of brands, governments and others, including Asia’s informal sector, in targeting plastics are also addressed.
